- bagging candy
- other?

Please rsvp your willingness, and we'll assign you a task. Thanks!

Water Carnival Parade

As the school year ends, another Water Carnival Parade is only a few weeks away. Pack 246 will once again have a float in the Parade. We hope to have as good of a turn out as we did last year. The plan is to meet as a group on Thursday, June 18th at 6:30 pm at the fair grounds and prepare the trailer for the parade. Please bring a few tools (screw drivers, staplers, etc…) to help with the set up. We are planning on having the same set up as last year (tent, fire, scouts), with two exceptions:

  1. The Freezes will be frozen
  2. We will use wagons to cart the boxes of freezes to hand to the scouts, instead of having the scouts running to the moving trailer get replenish there supply.

Below is a list of items that are needed for a successful parade entry:

  • We are in need of 3 wagons to help with distributing the freezes.
  • We need someone with a truck to drive the trailer through the parade route
  • We need parental volunteers to pull the wagons, and make sure the kids are safe

Let me know if there are any questions or if you would like to volunteer for an item listed above.

Best Regards,

Scott Gandrud
